What’s a ‘common mod’ you think is overrated on track — and what would you invest in instead?

Data Logging & Setup: What system do you use (AiM, VBOX, etc.), and what's the most valuable piece of data you analyze after a session?
Weight reduction
When it comes to the little ins and outs of weight reduction such as audio or heat, what do you feel is necessary to strip vs just an inconvenience? Personally, i like heat and music while i’m driving in the colder temps.
I ended up removing the stock hvac and replacing it with a uni heater core for just defrost. As for tunes I plan on running a Bluetooth receiver connected to a set of corded headphones to give the more race look, plus weight saving from a whole sound system.

My wing was designed by Takamoto Katsuta, rally driver with Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT in WRC. He has the whole kit on his Morizo edition GR Corolla, so I’m assuming it has some aero purpose 😅

Oh! Definately haltech datalog. And can tune sooo proper with it. So long as sensors are calibrated in range. Lol. I've made that mistake a few times with my o2 sensor. I use a ton of haltech equipment, since it's so user friendly, and made by people who actually do seat time.
Most valuable data i look at, is o2, vac/boost, rpm, ignition angle, and injector duty cycle. That stuff will make or break an engine quickly! I learned on rotary, that you can definately foul out spark plugs way too early by letting auto-tune take over. The oil in the exhaust will mess up the o2 sensor, and make you run waaay too rich!
