Hows it going, my name is Dakota and I drift a turbocharged 1999 Mazda miata. A little bit about me is, I have been into to cars for as long as I can remember my first car was a AMC Javelin back in high-school. From there I moved on to the JDM scene where I got into building and racing honda civics and Acura integra. Then about 3 years ago a buddy took me out drifting in his miata and I was hooked. I ended up coming across my miata sitting in a friend's neighbor's garage covered with children's toys stacked higher then the car. The only thing visible was the side of the car. But i knew I wanted it and told the guy id put her back on the road again. Me and the same buddy who took me out drifting dragged the car out and trailer the car back to the shop he was working at and got to work on it. Within the first few days we had the car running and driving and within the first week I had blown up my first miata engine. From there I ended up trading the lsd that was in the car for another engine and found a open diff at the junk yard. I slapped the new engine in and welded the diff and thats how my journey into drifting got started the same miata you see me post is the same car I learned on and have grown with. Im excited to be apart of this car club family and help it reach for the stars.
