Hey everyone, Jarrad here, AKA The Real Halligan.I am the Mid-Atlantic Chapter Captain and a Black Card Society Member here at MPMC. I’m the grumpy Gen X dude that remembers when your cool 80s or 90s car was brand new. I caught the JDM buzz after right seating in my friends Integra GSR, late nights in Atlanta. Drum and Bass filled the cabin through the Punch sub, dolphins swimming in a neon blue sea on the head units faceplate, the ribbon of highway laid out in front of us urging us to keep driving, keep pushing..........that road lead me here........ 25 years later. I’m a father of 3, a Veteran, a bicycle mechanic by trade, a gamer, an audiophile, a nerd and I love me some candy, but ultimately I am a dreamer, no.....better yet.........I'm a Pretender! I pretend that I'm ripping a Touge on a warm summer night, or that I'm racing the Kanjo Loop with my friends. I pretend that I'm back in that same Integra, back in '99.

No matter what the day has brought, no matter what is to come, the moments that make up the dull day, the worries, the reality of life are all dissolved, washed away in one singular moment. My imagination takes over, my make believe, my dreams, my pretend....... It all becomes reality......................

Midnight is when it happens

My ride is a 1997 Subaru Sambar KS4, Special. Imported in the winter of 2023, and taking delivery In February of 2024, I am the original imported of this pint sized “Farmers Porsche”.
