Good news and bad news!
What’s good fam? After a month of being in FL and my car being at Circuit Motorsports for over a month I finally went to pick it up on Thursday. Bad news is they were not able to figure out the cause of my Cylinder 2 misfire. Not bashing them but they were trying to sell me on a tune because they wanted to retune the car to verify my tune wasn’t the problem (It wasn’t the problem). They advised I either go stand alone ECU or revert tgv/egr deletes and cat back to stock so they can tune my car on a Cobb AP (currently tuned on ECUTEK)to be able to diagnose my problem. Good news is after getting my car back Thursday I brought it to work with me yesterday and gave it to the guys right next-door to where I work at KKT racing. KKT had my car sorted out before the end of the day and they didn’t try to sell me on a tune or a stand alone ECU in order to diagnose the problem. Kkt racing also only charged me half of what I spent at Circuit Motorsports (including cost of parts). Again I’m not bashing Circuit Motorsports they came highly recommended by people in the community who swear by them and I’ve seen quality builds that came out of their shop. I’m just sharing my experience with them a
nd KKT Racing who are here in Kissimmee and I highly recommend them for anyone who needs work done or diagnostic work done. So happy I got my baby back and she’s in proper working order, now time to resume tuning to see what she can do after all the work, time, and money invested!!!
