New addition for the Z

Just recently ordered the Berk Tech Resonated Test Pipes for my Z. I have heard what they sound like on other 370s so I'm hoping that one they fix my Check Engine Soon Light (passenger side cat is busted internally) and two they pair nicely with my Stillen catback exhaust setup, won't know until mid May.

Nice man! From what I’ve heard these definitely add a deeper note to the VQ I think you’ll be happy. That’s for sure.🔥

I was able to get my new bumper and side skirts on.

Looking good brother! I’m jealous I have brand new bumpers and fender flare I need to get painted and install! Also have some other aero stuff to install too but waiting until I have the bumpers and flares painted.

Project Matheal update 🖤

Enjoy this snow day photo 🤣

So after pulling my motor months ago and watching my fuel injector just fall apart completely, and waiting on the IRS to give me my tax refunds, WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS NOW!!!

Finally going to tear the heads off and reseal the motor completely. Checking my pistons before I seal him back up for the new fuel system. Hopefully by Friday I’ll have all the rest of my parts ordered. The goal is he’s back on the road by the end of the month. Then gonna start repairing my widebody (I hate fiberglass), mount it and wrap him for the time being. I’ve also been redoing my engine harness at home, so that it’s a lot cleaner looking

Goal power is roughly 420-450. My Tuner is super confident I’ll make that safely on stock internals. Then start saving for the IAG 750 Long Block…

I probably find a good one for u

Finally got some work done!!!

Well after a long time of just accumulating parts and waiting I finally installed a couple things! First I tinted the top strip of my windshield and put on a windshield banner with the logo cut out so u can see the glossy black tint through the banner and put on my midnight pretenders banner on my rear windshield. I swapped out my oem intercooler and charge pipe for a Subispeed tmic and Grimmspeed charge pipe. While I had the intercooler out I also replaced my tired oem pitch stop mount with a new jdm sti one, put in a new pcv valve, and installed radium engineering dual catch cans. Also added the plastic ducting I was missing that attaches to the hood to direct the air through the intercooler. Drilling into my carbon fiber hood gave me a little anxiety but it went smooth and came out how I…

Just uploaded a video to YouTube wanting to document my progress along the way. I’m not a YouTuber so quality is meh but incase anyone is bored and wants to check it out.

Got the rear suspension dialed in, moving freely with out binding. Only thing left is to mount the sway bar, then clean up for paint.

Onto a new beginning (R.I.P) “Ghost”

  • I recently crashed my EG hatch. It’s tragic to have this event happened, but don’t worry I won’t be gone for long!

  • Next build will be an Integra OEM+ (ish) build

  • I’m ok, just little injuries.

Truly a bummer man! But stoked to see where you go from here 🔥

What part are you currently waiting on?

Every build seems to have that one thing holding it up.

• Backordered parts

• Machine shop work

• Paint / body work

• Tuning appointment

I was looking at those ones that you use with hot glue, but then they show people doing it with the little hammer and all that and I don’t know if I’m like skilled enough to do it with that little hammer

Mitsubishi GTS

Me and my son along with my dad are working on a 2008 Mitsubishi gts 5spd we have done a few basic tune up to it have a new bumper and lights coming to install going for a aggressive stock look any ideals is much appreciated

I would say a great first step is getting fitment dialed in. Have you looked into suspension yet at all?

Progress.

Just some progress pics. A little bit at a time. Tip is how I picked it up last year.

I’ll probably keep with the two tone, the paint definitely needs some love so honestly all options are on the table!

No finished builds required.

What stage are you in right now?

• Collecting parts?

• Waiting on shipping (again 😅)?

• Mid-install chaos?

• Tuning phase?

Slow an steady collecting parts and installing getting ready to install the front bumper and then move on to body

Tilt front clip just about done. Just a few things to clean up, but it's another thing checked off my bucket list to have on a vehicle.

That’s dope man!!! Chevy big block!!?? Lol

Built or Bought

The ages long argument/debate. Does it truly matter if you buy a pre-built car? Are you a firm believer on building your own car? Does it not matter, and all that matters is that you enjoy it? What are your opinions, and why do you think that it is such a controversial topic?

If your not going to talk crap or down on other builds it's fine that you bought your ride.

But in my opinion if your judging other people's work and creativity but can't even turn a wrench, I think you need to politely shut the f*ck up.

New shoes/ budget build

Finally pulled the trigger to get wheel 18x9.5+22 offset.

She is cleaning up nicely! Keep up the good work man🔥

I can't wait for it to finally warm up. It's too cold to work on my car..😭❄️

Peach it brother, I have a garage to work in and it's still too cold lol

My 2020 Wrx Midnight

Mostly stock as it is aside from the cosmetic Mods. Currently have a Cobb redline carbon fiber cold air intake, Cobb cast turbo inlet, grimmspeed v2 bpv, Tomei expreme ti test pipe, and HKS Legamax premium catback exhaust. Tuned on Cobb AP by Dmann Tuning. I have a collection of parts on stash ready to be installed aiming to get to the next phase of this car in spring. Parts list and progress pics soon to come.

Fujitsubo elh and subispeed tmic end tanks ceramic coated with a satin black finish for a sharp stealthy look that won’t stand out too much.

I'll try this again in here, forgot about this group lol

What's everyone working on this weekend? I'm finishing up my tilt front clip, just have to weld in the hood pin mounts to the firewall. Also chopped the frame off behind the cab to redo the rear suspension again and tube the rear. Working towards the sub 2500lbs.

Hell yeah slowly finishing up the last things for the subaru before I send it to the shop

Update time

Its been a minute since I've posted and I'm very excited to show what I've been teasing on my IG for the entire winter.

Want to note that it'll be getting lowered on this upcoming saturday. But for the week this is where I stand.

-BC Extreme Low Coils installed and ready for drop

-Epsilon Aero Front lip and side skirts. Tried my hand at painting them to match the car and it came out okay. Needing some wet sanding and polish.

-Kansei 18x8.5 Hyper Silver Tandems with the special edition blue center caps.

I'm really pleased with how much it changed the car overall. Different personality. Lmk what you all think. Little things I could add to the car? Headlights arrive in the future 🤫

That’s so sick!!

Progress is progress

After a long weekend of thrashing, I stand back and other than the bulldog stance and the trunk spoiler, it doesn’t look like I accomplished much. But then i remember the complete redesign of the exhaust(header back), new o2 sensor location and install, installing new front suspension and control arms, height adjustments, clearancing, the heat shielding, the harness bar, the seat modifications, the 5point harnesses and mounts, the trunk spoiler, tucking and rerouting wires as I went along. All of that doesn’t look like much.. BUT. Progress is progress. And I have to remind myself that.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. 🤙🏻

Awesomeness!!

Welp, i did a gnarly pull in thr fc and blew a rotor...and not in the fun way. She didn't go lean, not at all. Too rich, actually.

I was able to limp her home on 1 rotor and made it safely. Now, i am tasked the horrible job of ordering parts to rebuild. I guess blessing in disguise, cause now, i can half bridge port 😈😈

Budget Build so far….

Here’s my build so far.. — 05 Civic EX

Nothing extravagant, just a budget setup since she’s my daily.

As of recently the Spec-D cat-back just came in. Heard mixed reviews, so we’ll see how she sounds once it’s on.

Picked up some wheels off FB Marketplace too—steelies officially retired to the garage for the next 10 years.

So far I’ve added:

• MaxpeedingRods coilovers

And it’s out 🙌🏽

Now that the motor is out I can access the condition and start upgrading parts, all new hoses, and start management. Shell is going to go through some transformation while motor is out, and gonna black out my engine bay. More progress photos all winter while I build it at work during slow season.

New Exhaust

So my build is nothing extravagant, I’m doing budget friendly simply because she’s my daily BUT my goal is to make her look good. So this just came in heard some good reviews about it so we’ll see what’s up! Also I purchased some rims for her of fb marketplace that way the steelies can go in my garage for the next 10 years

Man the fitment is great on these

2005 Civic Ex

Hey everyone, this is my bone stock 2005 civic ex I've recently purchased a couple months ago. I installed some coilovers and dropped it a few inches, thats as much as I got done at the moment.

As of right now the plans for this car I will be focusing on cosmetics such as the hood, wheels and paint job and other little things around the car. I plan on getting a body kit for it but haven't decided on it.

As far as performance right now, I plan on getting a cold air intake for it. Once I work out the cosmetic issues I will start performance upgrades.

Little By Little

Hey y'all! Here's my 2021 Corolla Hatchback and a brief (ish) summary of what's been done and where it's headed. I bought the car a year and a half ago roughly and I've been slowly and steadily building it to my liking.

The exterior looks fairly OEM+ right now with tint, a mild drop on RS-R coils and Tein struts, a Blitz (rep) wing, Kill All Wipers rear wiper delete, and custom cut rear plastics for my exhaust. Recently my son and I applied sticker bomb vinyl to one front fender and of course it's wearing a club banner.

Interior is stock save for a Delta X throttle pedal spacer and some work on the shifter including a Grimmspeed stubby weighted shift knob and shifter bushings from Monkeywrench Racing. I have plans for the interior

but it's going to come last on my list most likely.

Ooooo I like that color on the 4G that’s gorgeous

Sad day, but can’t wait for the results.

Just left my baby at the shop (I work there) so I can start pulling motor for upgrades, reseal and maintenance like timing, rings, gaskets, etc.

friend of mine is gonna tow the body to his house so we can wrap it and install all the new exterior too while motor is out. Then gut the inside and upgrade interior too.

Hate seeing him not in his spot at home. But can’t wait for spring when I start him up again and get a new tune. 🖤 I’ll make sure to post progress photos. But I may be a ghost for a bit with late night build sessions lol.

The project car

The day I got it, vs. about 2 months ago. 1.5 years of time and dedication has made the car virtually unrecognizable from where it was when I got it 👍 need updated pictures cuz even more has been done since this photo, but thats a surprise for later
