For all my fellow gamers out there, are you excited for Forza Horizon 6? Finally we are going to be able to roam Japan after years of hoping. I’ve been playing since the first Horizon in 2012, loved every game since despite being let down by FH4 and FH5. This feels like a true return to form with wristband progression while also giving things a new twist with personalized garage spaces and other features such as window decals, greater steering wheel angle, mismatched wheels on cars, new body kits/aero parts and a massive overhaul on the layering/verticality to the map design. I can’t wait to see the Japanese vehicles making their first debut in Horizon such as the Toyota Chaser and others. Definitely looking forward to seeing their new S15 car model along with the other rumored cars that are getting a makeover with new cosmetic items. Some of these car models have been used for years and are inaccurate due to the technology used to replicate them in the past. Now with new scanning techniques it is better than ever. Hopefully some new sounds will be included too, mainly turbos/blowoff valves along with improved engine sounds. My only real hope is they finally give the RB26 the performance mods it deserves. There hasn’t been a single Forza game that has nailed this. Most games limit the RB26’s peak output to around 800hp besides a DLC pack for FH2 and Forza Motorsport 6 that included Brian’s 2 Fast 2 Furioue Skyline GTR that could be modded for 1000hp+. The RB26 isn’t the only one that’s been slightly neglected but it stands out when I think of the JDM titans in these games. Anyways, that’s just me ramblings.
