What tools do you keep in your car?

I had a minor incident with a punctured tire this morning that got me thinking this might be a worthwhile question.

If you daily or road-trip your car, what are your must-have tools that go everywhere with you? Any unique tools or items that have saved you in a pinch?

My tire repair kit in particular saved my bacon this morning and kept me from either having to deal with a tow company or put a donut spare on a drive wheel on a lowered car mid highway trip. I'll move the plugged tire to a non-drive wheel later when I'm home and have access to a good jack and stands but for now this kept me on the road and moving at a time when my family is down to just one vehicle after a wreck involving my wife's car last month.

Here's what I always carry:

-1/2" Drive breaker bar and wheel socket

-3/8" Drive metric socket set and ratchet

-3/8" Drive short/long extensions

-Metric end wrench set

-Phillips/standard screwdrivers

-6" Channellock pliers

-Needle nose pliers

-6" Magnetic tray (harbor freight freebie)

-Flashlight

-Shop rag(s)

-WD40

-Electrical tape

-Reflective vest

-Smittybilt tire repair kit

-Heavy duty jumper cables

-Small tarp

On longer trips, sometimes I'll throw in my old Smittybilt 12v off-road air compressor so I don't have to deal with finding a gas station with a working compressor.

What do you keep in your ride for the days when Murphy comes calling?

same stuff, unfortanately I'll have to settle with the jack the car comes with, I also carry a 3/8th drive and 1/2 drive electric impact and a set of sockets for both
