So i did get to run a couple laps over the weekend - which i was not anticipating. My buddy let me take out his is300. NA and a crap suspension and alignment set up - i had zero control. I have a video of me spinning out a bunch though if anyone wants to watch lol i had a couple people pat my back and reassure me it was not my driving but the car itself that was my issue - so that made me feel a little better about it all 😅

For my hopes and dreams. Just found out i won’t be able to drive this weekend - someone broke the Z and no one informed me until now so i don’t have the time to go out there and fix it before the event.
I honestly am heartbroken. I got a taste and now i’m in a rut. I just wanna slide man
Do you think drift culture today is more about building a car that looks the part or one that actually gets beat on every weekend? We’ve all seen show builds that never touch the wall, and beaters that get respect because they stay sliding no matter how rough they look. Where do you think the balance is between style, reliability, and just getting out there to throw it down?

Man, has anyone ever been looking forward to an event and have it cancelled shortly before?
I’ve been wanting to hit Midpond Raceway since 2017 ish when my buddies went for a comp and i saw all the killer media and how awesomely technical the circuit was.
My team was supposed to go August 9-10th for an event we were hosting but we had to cancel due to lack of registrations (distance is a factor i’m sure).
Just really bummed about missing out on a bucket list track this season.
So tell me, what have you missed out on this season? Or have you ever experienced a similar situation?
If I’m being honest, we’ve missed almost every event this year. Growth of the club has become the main priority. Hopefully, next year we will be able to make it out to a lot more events and set up as vending, as well as getting the club name out in the open and not so much just online.

I know this is kind of a mainstream opinion however, Ken block for me ever since the original gymkhana videos.
Never got to meet him or see him drive in person so living vicariously through watching Travis and Bucky at boxerfest.
And honestly, Bucky lasik is an honorable mention, I grew up playing him on Tony Hawk pro skater so watching it come full circle with all of my hobbies has been a treat.
