What’s up guy’s! If any club members would like to show off their cars and help spread our online presence I’d love to feature them on my ig page @midnightraceworks. Drop some pics and ig handles and I’ll tag you and your photographer if they were taken professionally and you’d like to give them photo credit.
Show some love if yall feel so inclined! Got some fun stuff coming for the RA.
My name is Noah, I am a new Silver Member, and it is a great pleasure to be joining you all. I am fairly new to the automotive scene but I hope to learn and grow among the veterans of the community. I currently drive a ‘96 Ek Civic Hatch, mostly stock at the moment but I’ve got big plans for it. Im very excited to be included in the Midnight Pretenders!

Build progress is on-hold for now. Clutch seized and won't get out of gear. Never heard of such a thing until now. Hope warranty covers it 🤞
Dang... Sorry to hear that man! Hopefully it's covered! You're not lowered thankfully so hopefully the tow company doesn't break anything like they did with mine when the slave cylinder left the chat at 25k miles.
Sometimes the best memories are made just hanging out in the garage with your buddies.
No, it's not my birthday. However! I just had a MASSIVE shipment delivered to my house of a bunch of car products. I ordered them all decently spaced apart, some spanning over a week in between, but everything arrived together around noon today and I'm geaking out like a child on christmas morning. We're talking like 2 full body wraps, banner wrap, decals, new sparco racing seat, braum harness bar, sparco racing harness, a bluetooth lighting control panel, Perrin transmission oil cooler.... the list keeps going.
Im so stoked and dont even know where to start with this.
I also just ordered a set of new custom headlights, but that'll be 6-8 weeks before I can expect them.
Welp, time to get to work!
If money wasn’t an issue, what would your dream build be and why?
I've alwaysss wanted to take a late model Chevy S10 Extreme Extended cab, LS swap it, remote mount twin turbos in the bed, static slammed, hidden, nice system, the whole works.
Butttt, money no object I'd probably want to do some crazy C63 Black series build lmao
Just wanted to share a little weekend work I wrapped up on the Corolla.
I've had a lightweight crank pulley from Non-Stop Tuning sitting on the work bench since last Christmas and finally got it installed. That part shaves more than a pound and a half of rotating mass off of the nose of the crank shaft. It may not seem huge, but on something as horsepower challenged as this little non-turbo Corolla and having the 6-speed manual transmission in the car it makes a noticeable difference.
Also wrapped up my modifications to the intake "snorkel" on the car. Eliminated the factory "warm air intake" and all of the excess baffling and replaced it with a direct run to a velocity stack behind the grille and ahead of the core support. Got it all dressed up with a custom cut GR Corolla radiator cover plate, bolts from Fast Turn Fittings,…

Got a pretty cool story for this one.
So unlike a lot of people, I wasn’t actually raised in the automotive world. Parents never really had any cool cars growing up, but I did go with them when I was about eight years old to trade in their 1988 V6 Camaro that smoked like crazy on a new Chevy trailblazer in like 1999.
I was wandering around the showroom while my parents signed paperwork and there was a brand new Corvette sitting in the showroom. One of the salesman saw me looking at it and came over to me and asked me if I wanted to sit in it to which obviously I replied can I really?
First time I’ve ever sat in a bucket seat in that fighter pilot style cockpit of a two seater. To top it all off the guy asked me if I wanted to hear it.
This guy got in the car in my place started up, revved it a few times even let me sit in it and push the gas pedal myself. Feeling that 5.7 rumble under my eight year-old foot. It’s probably the sole reason we are all here together on this app.
Doing a little work trying to clean my garage and finally got my MP garage flag hung up. I love this design!
Hey everyone!
Thanks to Jarrad for the invite and Trevor and Chris for starting and operating this club! I've been wrenching as long as I can remember, and have grown up around race cars (C.A.R.T. - RIP, IndyCar and more recently IMSA). I'll always appreciate a good build that's got ones blood, sweet and tears into it. I'm from NJ and Charlotte, NC is my second home.
I have a 1992 Honda ACTY that I'm working on getting into tip-top shape to haul things around with. I have been on a 8 month journey of importing a 1995 R33 Skyline GTS-T from a used car lot in Osaka, it should finally be on the road, NJ legal in the next few weeks, and my DD is a Unitronic Stage 2 2016 VeeDub Jetta GLI!
Do we have any one else that lives here in SoCal that want to start meeting up and get this SoCal chapter going?
Let me know.

Almost drop my intake manifold and still broke it catching it now I got to get a new one

Getting cleaned up for the weekend shows
