Introduce Yourself

My name is Jason (Jdel) from Va Beach in the 757 and I drive a 1998 Honda Acty Street, imported from Japan. It’s been almost a three year process and getting closer to full restored, along with some personal tweaks to make it my own. A lot of guys go more of the tuner route with these, which is awesome. Living at the beach and this being my daily, I’ve opted to honor its island roots and merge that with my daily surfing to make the quintessential Japanese beach van. With nods to surf and skate culture, along with JDM sprinkled in, it’s been a labor of love.

Still a lot to do on my list of upgrades and mods, but it’s such a blast to stay connected to the scene while bringing something unique to meets & shows.

Hey everyone!

Just joined this club and checking things out! I’m located in Northern Nevada in a small town called Elko, NV. Moved here about 5 years ago from Southern California and the car scene here is unique. Nothing compared to our meets down in Cali. I used to have a 2017 Subaru WRX and then life happened with my little one so I had to trade it in for a more suitable vehicle.

With my daughter turning 4 this year I thought it was time to get back into the scene and build something her and I both can enjoy. So introducing my 2018 Honda Civic Si. We usually travel to SLC for shows or Idaho. Hopefully one day I’ll get to meet some of you!

Thanks to Jarrad for the invite and Trevor and Chris for starting and operating this club! I've been wrenching as long as I can remember, and have grown up around race cars (C.A.R.T. - RIP, IndyCar and more recently IMSA). I'll always appreciate a good build that's got ones blood, sweet and tears into it. I'm from NJ and Charlotte, NC is my second home.

I have a 1992 Honda ACTY that I'm working on getting into tip-top shape to haul things around with. I have been on a 8 month journey of importing a 1995 R33 Skyline GTS-T from a used car lot in Osaka, it should finally be on the road, NJ legal in the next few weeks, and my DD is a Unitronic Stage 2 2016 VeeDub Jetta GLI!
