Hey guys got a general question and hoping yall can point me the right way. My 07 WRX motor is out and as I was removing the harness I thought, why don’t I tuck it? I also notice a LOT of blow by and build up on almost every connector.
So my questions are, what would be the best way to clean the harness, extend the length and tuck it so it’s not under my manifold anymore? I don’t normally do anything electrical so this is a new challenge for me. If anyone has done a wire tuck on a Subaru engine, if you can share photos so I have an idea. Either EJ or FA since I have both and can generalize the same idea from FA.

Oh man, this wide body has been sitting in my closet for almost a year now WAITING. And now I finally get to start prepping it for install and wrap while the motor is out (building that at work since slow season is upon us). Thank all hell I work at a shop lol. So body, motor, and suspension upgrades are coming out the forever pit that is my closet to finally, FINALLY, go on the WRX project. Time to go get my wheels out of storage 🖤😭
So excited to cut body and get this baby on finally. Here’s a glance on what’s to come over the next couple months of down season. Hoping by April 2026, it’ll be a completely different car.

I remember when I was first getting started working on my car and I was crunching numbers, i noted how expensive the build would take. In comes my friend who had a broken down 330i telling me he had parts for me and I could take what I needed. This man casually gave me a k&n cold air intake, rear trunk handle, shadowline trim, brand new BMW emblems, and so much more. I appreciate what he's given me, he's a great man, and whenever I work on my car, I always remember what he's given me. without him, I wouldn't have gotten this far with my project!
