Let’s get more in this thread, this is what it is all about!

‘23 GR Corolla

The 1.6 liter G16E-GTS engine is still relatively new and I’m learning a lot from the GR Yaris forums and community about it while I build. So this build is slow, but deliberate.

I’ll start with what I first swapped out and make my way through the list.

Engine pitch mount: DeltaX Motorsports with 70a insert

Shift assembly kit: RacerX

Aero: Tom’s Racing Type TK wing

Slow and deliberate is the move with a platform this new. Love seeing you take the time to actually learn the G16E instead of rushing the usual bolt-on recipe. DeltaX mounts, Regas in white, and a Tom’s wing is already a killer combo this is shaping up to be one of those builds that ages beautifully. Can’t wait to see how the exhaust setup ties it all together. 🔥

When I first got the civic and the current day!

I dig that lip kit. It's subtle enough but REALLY adds to the car. And I'm always a fan of yellow fog lights.

Show off your 'before and after' (even if it's just one part). Let's celebrate the small victories!"

Got a long way to go still on the engine bay but progress is progress. Working slowly away at cleaning up the messy factory bay on this car. Little by little.

Got rid of the dinner table sized mid-line wing the previous owner installed and added a Blitz wing, cut out the factory faux exhaust tips in the bumper to make space for a real exhaust, rear wiper delete, partial de-badge. Little stuff, but it all makes a difference.

Sad day, but can’t wait for the results.

Just left my baby at the shop (I work there) so I can start pulling motor for upgrades, reseal and maintenance like timing, rings, gaskets, etc.

friend of mine is gonna tow the body to his house so we can wrap it and install all the new exterior too while motor is out. Then gut the inside and upgrade interior too.

Hate seeing him not in his spot at home. But can’t wait for spring when I start him up again and get a new tune. 🖤 I’ll make sure to post progress photos. But I may be a ghost for a bit with late night build sessions lol.

The project car

The day I got it, vs. about 2 months ago. 1.5 years of time and dedication has made the car virtually unrecognizable from where it was when I got it 👍 need updated pictures cuz even more has been done since this photo, but thats a surprise for later
