Nice!

Project Matheal update 🖤

Enjoy this snow day photo 🤣

So after pulling my motor months ago and watching my fuel injector just fall apart completely, and waiting on the IRS to give me my tax refunds, WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS NOW!!!

Finally going to tear the heads off and reseal the motor completely. Checking my pistons before I seal him back up for the new fuel system. Hopefully by Friday I’ll have all the rest of my parts ordered. The goal is he’s back on the road by the end of the month. Then gonna start repairing my widebody (I hate fiberglass), mount it and wrap him for the time being. I’ve also been redoing my engine harness at home, so that it’s a lot cleaner looking

Goal power is roughly 420-450. My Tuner is super confident I’ll make that safely on stock internals. Then start saving for the IAG 750 Long Block…

Man, I am anticipating this build so hard!

Finally got some work done!!!

Well after a long time of just accumulating parts and waiting I finally installed a couple things! First I tinted the top strip of my windshield and put on a windshield banner with the logo cut out so u can see the glossy black tint through the banner and put on my midnight pretenders banner on my rear windshield. I swapped out my oem intercooler and charge pipe for a Subispeed tmic and Grimmspeed charge pipe. While I had the intercooler out I also replaced my tired oem pitch stop mount with a new jdm sti one, put in a new pcv valve, and installed radium engineering dual catch cans. Also added the plastic ducting I was missing that attaches to the hood to direct the air through the intercooler. Drilling into my carbon fiber hood gave me a little anxiety but it went smooth and came out how I…

I would say a great first step is getting fitment dialed in. Have you looked into suspension yet at all?

Tilt front clip just about done. Just a few things to clean up, but it's another thing checked off my bucket list to have on a vehicle.

That’s dope man!!! Chevy big block!!?? Lol

And it’s out 🙌🏽

Now that the motor is out I can access the condition and start upgrading parts, all new hoses, and start management. Shell is going to go through some transformation while motor is out, and gonna black out my engine bay. More progress photos all winter while I build it at work during slow season.

A lol 7300 rpm rev heh heh heh

Little By Little

Hey y'all! Here's my 2021 Corolla Hatchback and a brief (ish) summary of what's been done and where it's headed. I bought the car a year and a half ago roughly and I've been slowly and steadily building it to my liking.

The exterior looks fairly OEM+ right now with tint, a mild drop on RS-R coils and Tein struts, a Blitz (rep) wing, Kill All Wipers rear wiper delete, and custom cut rear plastics for my exhaust. Recently my son and I applied sticker bomb vinyl to one front fender and of course it's wearing a club banner.

Interior is stock save for a Delta X throttle pedal spacer and some work on the shifter including a Grimmspeed stubby weighted shift knob and shifter bushings from Monkeywrench Racing. I have plans for the interior

but it's going to come last on my list most likely.

That’s a dope wrap

Sad day, but can’t wait for the results.

Just left my baby at the shop (I work there) so I can start pulling motor for upgrades, reseal and maintenance like timing, rings, gaskets, etc.

friend of mine is gonna tow the body to his house so we can wrap it and install all the new exterior too while motor is out. Then gut the inside and upgrade interior too.

Hate seeing him not in his spot at home. But can’t wait for spring when I start him up again and get a new tune. 🖤 I’ll make sure to post progress photos. But I may be a ghost for a bit with late night build sessions lol.
