Let’s get more in this thread, this is what it is all about!

I’m getting hyped up.

My tune is set for 10AM Monday with my boys at Moore Automotive. Just got a very reasonable quote on paint for my car including my widebody, so setting that up for next month, and now gotta order tires so I can fit my fat boy wheels on! Guys I’m getting hyper!!!

Decided to stick with my stock 37J Satin White Pearl color, it’s hard to come by and I’ve fallen in love it it.

And my wheels are 18x10 +10 step lipped. With my wide body, they will sit flush to the fenders! 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Getting Closer

After 2 years of saving up and acquiring parts I finally got the last of what I needed to get to the next phase of my build. Boost Lab 54x and Overtake Big Tubo Inlet have arrived! So today after work I stopped in at my local Harbor Freight to pick up a small media blaster and some walnut shell media so I can clean the valves and do all the upgrades. Wicked Big Meet is this weekend and my daughters second birthday the following so I won’t be able to get anything done until for a least another couple weeks, but at least I’m closer to my goal!

Hell yeah brother!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 happy birthday to the cutie as well!

HES ALIVE 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I’ll post a video soon, but my car finally started back up, but I realized I literally had NO gas in the tank 🤣🤣 and that I have a small but consistent leak on my dampers on the fuel rails. So gotta pull the rails off just to fix that 🙃

But god damn I squealed like a little school girl the moment I turned him over and he roared through the shop

Progress, but delayed slightly.

Don’t mind me lookin awful, my boyfriend just wanted a quick shot of me doing my AN fittings on my new lines. And I appreciate him for rebuilding my fuel pump for me so I can focus on the bay.

Tuner sent my base map to me last night, I was hoping to have the car started but I ran into an issue with my FPR set up and need an extra fitting to finish my lines. But I’m so close I can literally smell it…. Or is that just me high off the gasoline fumes? Lol

I will say, I’m extremely lucky to work for a dealership who values me enough to allow me space to work on my car for as long as I want. I was here working from 9am to 7pm and I stayed after til 1AM knocking this out. Now I’m back here working again.…

Project Matheal update 🖤

Enjoy this snow day photo 🤣

So after pulling my motor months ago and watching my fuel injector just fall apart completely, and waiting on the IRS to give me my tax refunds, WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS NOW!!!

Finally going to tear the heads off and reseal the motor completely. Checking my pistons before I seal him back up for the new fuel system. Hopefully by Friday I’ll have all the rest of my parts ordered. The goal is he’s back on the road by the end of the month. Then gonna start repairing my widebody (I hate fiberglass), mount it and wrap him for the time being. I’ve also been redoing my engine harness at home, so that it’s a lot cleaner looking

Goal power is roughly 420-450. My Tuner is super confident I’ll make that safely on stock internals. Then start saving for the IAG 750 Long Block…

I would say a great first step is getting fitment dialed in. Have you looked into suspension yet at all?

Built or Bought

The ages long argument/debate. Does it truly matter if you buy a pre-built car? Are you a firm believer on building your own car? Does it not matter, and all that matters is that you enjoy it? What are your opinions, and why do you think that it is such a controversial topic?

If your not going to talk crap or down on other builds it's fine that you bought your ride.

But in my opinion if your judging other people's work and creativity but can't even turn a wrench, I think you need to politely shut the f*ck up.

New face? 🫣

I've been working for 16 days straight at my job... We putting in that overtime to get the build ready for the summer! 🗿🗿🗿

Anyways... CHECK OUT MY BABY'S NEW FACE❗❗❗

You got a silver mask for when you paint the bumper? Lol

But looking good buddy.

Wheels….from Alibaba and or XXR. 🫣😬

The options for the wheels lol, but the very first one is from Alibaba, the others are from XXR, these types of wheels just give me great vibes about being a clean jdm look for the car and would for sure make my car stand out. I still wanting to get them ether dark bronze/silver/machine finish. Just would see yalls opinion on these.

I’m trying to go with 18x8.5/9 with a 0 to +25 offset. As wel. To give it a flush look. I am running drop springs, so could possibly work better for now and then later get coils to make it a better fitment for the wheels.

Nice options! I prefer a simple classic JDM look too. Mine are 18x9.5 +22. And paired with some lowering springs, it sits perfectly 👌

Happy New Year!

As we step into the new year, what are your top goals for your car build? Are there any new modifications or upgrades you’re planning to tackle?

New Exhaust

So my build is nothing extravagant, I’m doing budget friendly simply because she’s my daily BUT my goal is to make her look good. So this just came in heard some good reviews about it so we’ll see what’s up! Also I purchased some rims for her of fb marketplace that way the steelies can go in my garage for the next 10 years

2005 Civic Ex

Hey everyone, this is my bone stock 2005 civic ex I've recently purchased a couple months ago. I installed some coilovers and dropped it a few inches, thats as much as I got done at the moment.

As of right now the plans for this car I will be focusing on cosmetics such as the hood, wheels and paint job and other little things around the car. I plan on getting a body kit for it but haven't decided on it.

As far as performance right now, I plan on getting a cold air intake for it. Once I work out the cosmetic issues I will start performance upgrades.

Sad day, but can’t wait for the results.

Just left my baby at the shop (I work there) so I can start pulling motor for upgrades, reseal and maintenance like timing, rings, gaskets, etc.

friend of mine is gonna tow the body to his house so we can wrap it and install all the new exterior too while motor is out. Then gut the inside and upgrade interior too.

Hate seeing him not in his spot at home. But can’t wait for spring when I start him up again and get a new tune. 🖤 I’ll make sure to post progress photos. But I may be a ghost for a bit with late night build sessions lol.
