Let’s get more in this thread, this is what it is all about!

Recent Minor Updates

Been in the garage the last couple of weekends doing some work on the Corolla and installing things I've had sitting for months. Little things, but everything adds up. I've had a set of OE style fog lights in the garage for 18 months now and I finally blew the front end apart and got them wired up and installed. Color matched a set of OEM splash guards for the car and got them installed. And got the new MP shift knob all sorted out and installed. More coming this week hopefully. Still working on refinishing a set of wheels and staring longingly at my stack of brand new Continental tires waiting to go on the car. Hopefully they'll be ready to show soon!

I feel that bro. The heat doesn’t bother me I did the bulk of work on my car in 80-90 degree heat, but I refuse to work on cars in the cold anymore unless I’m left with no other choice. Just moved to FL though so I won’t have to worry about that anymore 🤣. Yea same I have a 2 and 3 year old so I don’t have very much time to do my own thing. I did all the work on my car in between jobs and had to wake up early and go to the garage like I was still going to work 🤷🏻‍♂️

For now I guess?

YALL I ain’t even gonna lie, I found these floor mats on fuckin Temu, and I’m in love lol.

I’ve been trying to find a set I like for the 07, but I hated pretty much everything. And the actually HKS ones are for RHD, so I get fucked being LHD. But you know, for right now? Why not lol

Ordered me the trunk tray one too 🤣🤣🤣

If they work they work!

Holy boost Batman 🖤

Just finished the dyno runs, we made 371HP and 342TQ on 20lbs of boost.

Boy was he pissed as shit when we pulled in and now he’s back to screaming like a demon from hell! On to the next portion of the build 🙌🏽

I bet it still feels like a riot to drive!

I’m getting hyped up.

My tune is set for 10AM Monday with my boys at Moore Automotive. Just got a very reasonable quote on paint for my car including my widebody, so setting that up for next month, and now gotta order tires so I can fit my fat boy wheels on! Guys I’m getting hyper!!!

Decided to stick with my stock 37J Satin White Pearl color, it’s hard to come by and I’ve fallen in love it it.

And my wheels are 18x10 +10 step lipped. With my wide body, they will sit flush to the fenders! 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Malthael is an angry boy. But he still sounds so good.

Don’t mind the awkward idle looping, as he really needs a retune. But the base map is working nicely so I can make sure everything goes well for dyno day. Even charged my A/C at work today, even though it’ll be ripped out the car after boxerfest 🤣🤣. I feel whole again now that he’s back with me running.

Slowly making progress with the truck. All the fab work is almost done I think before I can lay some paint down. Then onto the wiring that I've been putting off lol

That trucķ is mean looking in the back, my initial thought was that looks like a spaceship

HES ALIVE 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I’ll post a video soon, but my car finally started back up, but I realized I literally had NO gas in the tank 🤣🤣 and that I have a small but consistent leak on my dampers on the fuel rails. So gotta pull the rails off just to fix that 🙃

But god damn I squealed like a little school girl the moment I turned him over and he roared through the shop

Making progress!

Finally got fuel injectors and rails in after gasket refreshing the motor and now motor can go back in on Monday!

Went with ID1050x injectors, with some beautiful IAG rails, deleted my fuel lines for some braided ones that I’ll cut and place when motor is in. Also resealed/wrapped my engine harness and deleted some connectors that weren’t needed (2nd air pump BS). Cleaned up my intake manifold so it’s all shiny now.

Next is motor being put back in

Clutch replacement

Fuel line upgrade

New FMIC piping

Fabrication work is on point!

Spray paint sucks

Got the new wheels home and popped one of the center caps out to take a closer look. I THOUGHT they were generic black plastic caps or had the original TRD badging torn off. Nope! Under a thick layer of black spray paint, the original gold foil TRD logos are still there and in good shape. I just need to sand the paint off, smooth them out, and polish them. I'm pumped not to have to go on another wild goose chase to find factory center caps!

Hell ya! That’s a win!

It took a year but I finally found them!

These may not look like much, and they definitely need refinished. But like the title says, I've been looking for a set of these wheels for a year now.

These are a TRD option wheel that was briefly offered for the Scion xD, tC, Toyota Matrix, and Corolla Sedan and, as far as I can tell, they were discontinued in 2011. Digging around the internet for information turned up a few ancient forum posts with broken photo links and one article from 2008 stating in no uncertain terms how silly it would be to buy the $2000 "upgrade" TRD wheel option for that year's Corolla. And that seems to have been the general consensus at the time. Good wheels, but why would anyone buy them for the cars they were offered on? As a result it seems like demand was low and very few of them actually made it into…

I probably find a good one for u

My favorite shitbox 🖤

Hey all, been kind of quiet on this app in general, was hibernating over the winter and accumulating parts for all of my vehicles (other build progress posts on them to come). My most current build project is my most invested vehicle (which also happens to be my daily because I don't make smart choices lol), my '05 OBXT. I'm redoing very likely the entire suspension because I think multiple things are going out simultaneously. I have ordered all control arms front and rear, front and rear CV axles, end links front and rear, tie rods, struts, x4 wheel bearings, and I'm sure more I've lost track of. Never done this extensive kind suspension work but I like to dive right in so wish me luck!

I would say a great first step is getting fitment dialed in. Have you looked into suspension yet at all?

Tilt front clip just about done. Just a few things to clean up, but it's another thing checked off my bucket list to have on a vehicle.

My 2020 Wrx Midnight

Mostly stock as it is aside from the cosmetic Mods. Currently have a Cobb redline carbon fiber cold air intake, Cobb cast turbo inlet, grimmspeed v2 bpv, Tomei expreme ti test pipe, and HKS Legamax premium catback exhaust. Tuned on Cobb AP by Dmann Tuning. I have a collection of parts on stash ready to be installed aiming to get to the next phase of this car in spring. Parts list and progress pics soon to come.

Budget Build so far….

Here’s my build so far.. — 05 Civic EX

Nothing extravagant, just a budget setup since she’s my daily.

As of recently the Spec-D cat-back just came in. Heard mixed reviews, so we’ll see how she sounds once it’s on.

Picked up some wheels off FB Marketplace too—steelies officially retired to the garage for the next 10 years.

So far I’ve added:

• MaxpeedingRods coilovers

New Exhaust

So my build is nothing extravagant, I’m doing budget friendly simply because she’s my daily BUT my goal is to make her look good. So this just came in heard some good reviews about it so we’ll see what’s up! Also I purchased some rims for her of fb marketplace that way the steelies can go in my garage for the next 10 years

2005 Civic Ex

Hey everyone, this is my bone stock 2005 civic ex I've recently purchased a couple months ago. I installed some coilovers and dropped it a few inches, thats as much as I got done at the moment.

As of right now the plans for this car I will be focusing on cosmetics such as the hood, wheels and paint job and other little things around the car. I plan on getting a body kit for it but haven't decided on it.

As far as performance right now, I plan on getting a cold air intake for it. Once I work out the cosmetic issues I will start performance upgrades.

Little By Little

Hey y'all! Here's my 2021 Corolla Hatchback and a brief (ish) summary of what's been done and where it's headed. I bought the car a year and a half ago roughly and I've been slowly and steadily building it to my liking.

The exterior looks fairly OEM+ right now with tint, a mild drop on RS-R coils and Tein struts, a Blitz (rep) wing, Kill All Wipers rear wiper delete, and custom cut rear plastics for my exhaust. Recently my son and I applied sticker bomb vinyl to one front fender and of course it's wearing a club banner.

Interior is stock save for a Delta X throttle pedal spacer and some work on the shifter including a Grimmspeed stubby weighted shift knob and shifter bushings from Monkeywrench Racing. I have plans for the interior

but it's going to come last on my list most likely.
